The rest of MiCA came into force as of 30 December 2024, covering crypto-assets other than ART and EMT and CASPs. MiCA excludes crypto-assets if they qualify as financial instruments according to ESMA guidelines published on 17 December 2024 as well as crypto-assets that are unique and not fungible with other crypto-assets.

Hawk Tuah Girl, has found herself in hot water after the group behind her meme coin, HAWK, was sued on Thursday for failing to properly register the cryptocurrency as a security. A group of people who invested in the coin — which soared to a $490 million market cap before experiencing a 90 percent crash hours later — are suing overHere Ltd. founder Clinton So and his company, the Tuah the Moon Foundation, and influencer Alex Larson Schultz for damages in excess of $151,000. Welch herself is not named in the suit.
Pi network cryptocurrency
The network is inspired by the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) and operates without proof-of-work (PoW). Users, known as Pioneers, form security circles to verify transactions and contribute to network security.

They also have a “halving” system to slow down how many new Pi are made, controlling inflation. The amount of Pi you can actually use goes up as more people pass KYC and transfer their Pi to the Mainnet.
The Maximum Supply of Pi is 100 billion tokens. The Maximum Supply is comprised of the following: 65 Billion tokens (or 65%) are allocated for all community mining rewards; 10 billion (10%) are allocated for foundation reserves; 5 billion (5%) are allocated for liquidity purposes; and 20 billion (20%) are allocated for the Core Team. Each allocation mentioned above tracks the community Migrated Mining Rewards issuance pace, so the proportions of each allocation in the total supply remains the same at any given time.
